The American Legion Auxiliary is made up of the male and female spouses, grandmothers, mothers, sisters and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion.
Our Riders chapter is a program of Ameican Legion Post 57 (Newberg, OR) and as such, all our members must also be members of the post, or Post family. As American Legion Riders our purpose is to support and participate in American Legion activities and events in Newberg area and the State of Oregon.
SAL members include males of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military and were eligible for American Legion membership.
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness.
